Peppermint Patty's Story...
Hi! My name is Peppermint Patty. I am a female dark tabby kitten with white markings, born on or around June 5, 2015. I’m one of the Peanuts gang, and my brother Charlie Brown, and sisters Sally, Lucy, Marcie and Snoopy were born in a city apartment, so we were never wild. After our family had to move they couldn’t take us so we were moved into foster care where we play with children at a summer camp every day!
I am a chatty kitten who has a particular fondness for children. I enjoy running, playing, exploring and wrestling with my littermates, but I frequently check in with the people I care about. A busy household with gentle children and kitten-loving pets would suit me well
I have been tested negative for FeLV/FIV and have had my first shot and flea preventative. I am litter-boxed trained and I’m a healthy eater. I come with a free spay certificate at a participating animal hospital once I turn 6 months old.
Please consider adopting me along with one of my sisters or brother. We would like to stay in pairs. I am a sweet and happy kitten who bonds easily and has lots of love to share!
Please note: All cats and kittens require an on-line adoption application be completed and sent BEFORE consideration for adoption can take place. On-line applications at www.billericacatcarecoalition.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peppermint Patty, a N. Billerica Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in N. Billerica, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in N. Billerica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in N. Billerica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a N. Billerica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in N. Billerica paves the way for another one to be saved.
