found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
This is Laya, she is a beautiful GSD mix, on the small side, approx 6 months old, fully vetted. Very, very smart. Very treat motivated. Was abused as a puppy and dumped so has some trust issues. Needs someone with a lot of patience to work with her, she went on a trial adoption a month or so ago, did fine with the ladies yorkies, took treats from the lady, slept in the bed with the lady, but didn’t want the lady to pet her, but followed her around everywhere. She wants to be close to people but must decide for herself that she is safe and no one will harm her. She is very head shy and will duck and dodge when you go above her head.
She lets my husband carry her around, she lays in the fosters lap, she comes to me for attention, so by no means is she unapproachable, just needs time. I would recommend a family with older kids who are dog savvy, not because she would hurt them but because they wouldn’t cause her as much stress,
This baby is so deserving of her own family and a her own place to feel safe and loved and then she will flourish.
