Casper's Story...
This gentle guy is Casper and he is looking for his loving forever home. Casper is a timid boy who likes to find out of the way cubby holes to call his own. Once he builds his confidence in his new home, he will be an active boy who likes to seek out adventure. Casper will need a patient home who will give him the time he needs to flourish. He is used to having a great big cat tower of his own and would really like one in his new home as well. Casper isn't overly fond of other cats but can potentially live with a mellow cat who won't challenge him. Since he is a little shy, he needs a home without any dogs. Casper has lived with children before and can live with older, respectful children who will be patient with him while he settles in to his new home. If Casper sounds like the cat for you, please come to the front to fill out an adoption application so you can see for yourself how great he can be.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casper, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
