This gorgeous young man is Jax, a lab mix that is just about a year old, and ready to start life over again in a loving new home. Jax was given up by his family because they did not have enough time for him. Poor Jax was a bit confused as to why he was uprooted from the only home he has ever known, and he was a little depressed too, but he is putting his past behind him and looking forward to a bright new future. Jax is a bit shy at first, but it only takes him a minute to get to know you and then he'll be whining and whimpering for you to play with him. He has lots of puppy energy and is a fun-loving kind of guy. Jax is strong and can use some training with walking on a leash, but he is well behaved and smart, and is a fast learner. He sits immediately when asked and takes treats and toys gently. He enjoys going in our exercise yard to romp and roam, and check things out. Jax makes friends quickly and he doesn't seem to mind other dogs. This sweet young pup would bring a smile to your face every day if you give him the great home that he's dreaming of.
