Ivy's Story...
Hello there! My name is Ivy and I am excited to share with you! I am about one year old… really, the perfect age for adoption!

I am all the things you’d ever want in a cat… cute, friendly, playful, affectionate, spayed, vaccinated, chipped and dewormed! You know, for such a young girl I have been through so much, but that isn’t breaking my spirit one bit! In fact, it just makes me appreciate you more. I am extremely friendly and love being petted, chatting and hanging out with my foster mom and my foster siblings (yes, I am good with both dogs AND cats)! I am quite petite but spunky!

I love toy wands and playing with my foster siblings. I will look directly into your eyes when I want your attention, a quality my foster mom thinks is super endearing! In my downtime from playing, I enjoy looking out at nature and perching on cat condos and windowsills. I am an observer, and can’t wait to observe my new furever home!

Please, email info@teamcatrescue.ca or fill out an application for me at teamcatrescue.ca. See you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ivy, a THORNHILL Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in THORNHILL, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in THORNHILL.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in THORNHILL already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a THORNHILL breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in THORNHILL paves the way for another one to be saved.
