Our happy boy Hobie is ready to start interviewing families that can give him the wonderful life that he deserves! Hobie did not have a great former life, so he's starting fresh and looking forward to being treated with love and kindness from here on in. Hobie had an owner that went to extraordinary lengths to "get rid of him" when he no longer wanted him. Lucky for us, our animal control officer got to the bottom of the story. Sadly, Hobie lived a sad and lonely life in a backyard where he was being literally eaten by flies and fleas, and he was extremely neglected and thin. We have since erased that bad memory for him with good medical care and plenty of good meals and TLC, and Hobie is absolutely loving life and everyone in it! He's a real up-close-and-personal sort of guy that falls in love with you as soon as he meets you. This four year old boy is very friendly and outgoing, and he just bubbles over with happiness. He is always in good spirits and the only thing that has gotten him down was an evil hair dryer after his bath. Hobie is incredibly well behaved and is happy to sit and give you a pawshake if you ask. He seems excited to see other dogs and would make a wonderful addition to any loving family that promises him the great life that he has been hoping for. File#25237 7/30/15
