My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Petunia an adorable four month old lab mix puppy. She weighs about 15-18 pounds and is pure FUN! Petunia is playful, happy and just loves being snuggled! It is so much fun to watch Petunia and her friends play then fizzle out for a nap. Petunia is in a foster home and getting lessons on potty training and she is a quick learner.

If you are interested in giving Petunia wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com or call Beverly (901-651-6322) or Angela (901-361-0089) with questions.

Petunia's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover her spaying, shots, flea/tick meds, heart worm prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee.

Petunia is fostered in Tennessee and will travel to her new family by professional pet transport once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to the Chicago / Milwaukee areas.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
