My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marbles is a cute little fellow that roamed the streets of a small town in southwest Virginia for the first few months of his life. He would go door to door making new friends and the townspeople cared for him as best as they could. No one really knew where he came from. Well it became evident to animal control that Marbles did not actually have a home, so they took him to the shelter which is where we found him, sad-eyed, yet hopeful. Marbles, we have learned, is very friendly with cats. He gets along fine with other dogs too but really loves the cats. He likes toys, so a home with some toys and a nice bed would make him very happy. He is a dog of simple needs and is easy to care for. Marbles walks great on leash, so he would enjoy daily walks around the neighborhood with his new mom or dad. He is crate-trained and housebroken. Marbles has been neutered and microchipped. He is up to date on his shots. He has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. Marbles is about 2 years old and weighs 17 lbs.
