Mrs. Potts is a beautiful long hair dilute with the softest fur. She is as sweet as can be and loves people. She resides at the shelter's upscale resale shop, Sadies, where she relishes in the attention and love of volunteers and shoppers. But she'd love to have the same 24-7, instead of a few hours a day!. Mrs. Potts in FeLV positive so she must be indoors only. She is better off in a home where she is the only cat or she can live with other FeLV cats. Cats with FeLV who receive supportive medical care and are kept in a stress-free, indoor environment can live relatively comfortable lives for years. ?Mrs. Potts has the virus, but is not ill. Come to the shelter, stop at Sadies, and meet Mrs. Potts - and see who falls in love with who first!
Mrs. Potts adoption fee is $100. She has been spayed and given age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, given flea/tick prevention, a 24Petwatch microchip, and her adopter will receive 30 days of 24PetWatch Pet Emergency Insurance.

About Our Shelter...

Georgia SPCA is an adoption agency that rescues dogs and cats from GA shelters that are in danger of euthanasia. Once we pull an animal, it is vaccinated, quarantined for health reasons, dewormed, treated for fleas & ticks AND spayed or neutered prior to being placed up for adoption. We spay and neuter ALL of our pets including puppies and kittens.

We are open M-F 11-7, Sat 11-5 and Sun 1-4. The GA SPCA is on Buford Hwy is between McGinnis Ferry Rd. and Sugarload Parkway. We also have cats and kittens available for adoptions daily at the Flowery Branch Petsmart.

Our Adoption Process...

We begin our process with an adoption application. Once approved we sign a contract with the adopter. There is an adoption fee which varies depending on what type of pet. Our adoption fees help us pay for normal business expenses and animal care such as spay/neuter, vaccinations, Feline Leukemia and FIV testing for cats, Heartworm testing for dogs, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm prevention and microchips.
