My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Lindsey. My twin brother Tony broke his leg racing one day, so he left the track. I didn't know where he went, so I decided I had better break my leg too. The very next day, I did it. It probably wasn't the smartest thing I've ever done, but I found Tony! I had surgery at Briarcrest the day after Tony did, so we hung out together in recovery. (Thanks, Jackie's Fund!) Tony and I don't live in the same foster home, but we're both safe and happy, so I'm okay with that.

Everybody laughs at my "helicopter" tail that is always going round and round. I can't help it. I'm really happy to be starting my pet life. If you let me be part of your family, I promise to make you smile and I'll try to use better judgment in the future.

FOSTER UPDATE:

Lindsey is a very friendly, loving hound. She loves people and other hounds. Now that her leg has healed and her activity is not restricted, she enjoys running and playing with the other dogs.

Lindsey is a young girl and has a lot of energy. She still has puppy characteristics, like a tendency to rip up toys and chew on inappropriate items if not properly supervised. Lindsey should not live with cats or a very small dogs, but would like to have a medium-to-large dog to keep her company. She would not do well as an only dog. Lindsey would be a great addition to an active family. Lindsey is not small dog or cat tolerant.
