Lacey's Story...
Lacey here and I am a beautiful female kitty with soft gray and buff colored fur in a lace pattern--hey I think that's how I got my name! My eyes are a beautiful gray. I am the brave one because I am the first one to investigate something new. I enjoy being petted and I purr often, sometimes even when I play with my siblings. My favorite thing is shoe laces. I am litter boxed trained and up to date on my shots. I will be spayed when I get old enough (DOB 6/1/15). I have short hair and a thing for string and toys on a stick. And I am looking for a forever home where I can be an inside kitty.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacey, a McCormick Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in McCormick, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in McCormick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McCormick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McCormick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McCormick paves the way for another one to be saved.
