Stephanie (Combo Tested/Spayed's Story...
Stephanie" is a beautiful one-year old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on June 18, 2013 along with her three male kittens (Chip, Michael, and Robbie). This young mother has an orange-and-white short smooth coat, a long tail, and a very pretty face. "Stephanie" has a friendly, lovable personality. She is an 'empty-nester' now since her three sons were taken to WeLovPets recently, and "Stephanie" needs a home of her own where she can be pampered and loved. "Stephanie" received vaccinations and wormer on June 19, 2013. She was spayed on September 11, 2013 and also received rabies vaccine on that date. NOTE: "Stephanie" found a wonderful foster home the day after she was spayed, and we know she is enjoying the freedom of her foster mother's nice home :) She is still available for adoption/rescue by calling the HSOV at 740.373.5959 or by sending an email (manager@hsov.org)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stephanie (Combo Tested/Spayed, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
