Facts about Molly

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Gray, Blue Or Silver Tabby
  • Age: Kitten
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Hi, my name is Molly. I am a mini version of my mother Holly. I holler a lot like my mom and I have all her neat markings. I am a domestic short-haired gray tabby calico.

I was born 4/28/2015 and then abandoned along with my mom and siblings at the college where my rescuer works. We were scattered in the tall grass as the mowers were working. Some students found us and contacted my rescuer. She hid us until the end of the work day and then took us home. It rained that night and flooded the grounds. If we had stayed out there we would not have survived the lawnmower or the flood.

I'm so glad we are all safe and well cared for in our foster home. I love to play and tackle my siblings. I love lots of toys. I run all over the place and fly through the air tackling anything that moves. I love lots of people attention and I love to pester the dogs and other cats. I have discovered birds but am not too sure I like them. I am a typical kitten and I am learning to do things such as stay out of trouble, use the litter box, and not attack feet or climb people like they are trees.

I have been spayed, microchipped, and am up to date on all my shots. Now I'm ready for my new home! I hope it will be filled with lots of toys, and love, and someone to play with. Could that be you?

About Animal Allies of Texas

About Our Rescue Group...

Animal Allies of Texas is a 501(c)(3) animal advocacy/rescue organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community. Our goal is to build a no-kill shelter on enough land to house not only "adoptable" animals, but "treatable" ones as well - those who need medical care or behavior modification to become adoptable. While working toward this goal, we will also engage in community service and humane education projects to help bring about "humanity championed by thought."

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events at one or more locations every week end. Please check the calendar on our web site for specific locations and times.

Our Adoption Process...

Worth/North Texas area - we do not adopt outside this area. Dogs must be primarily inside, and cats must be totally inside. Cats must not be declawed. All pets must be spayed/neutered if this has not been done prior to adoption. Adopter must agree to a home visit prior to adoption. Adopter MUST agree to return pet to AAT if he/she can no longer keep the pet or if AAT deems it to be in the best interest of the pet. An adoption agreement detailing these and other requirements must be signed to finalize adoption. Current fees are: puppies (under 6 months)-$200, dogs-$175; kittens (under 6 months)-$125, cats-$110. This covers all vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchipping.
