Daisy's Story...
Daisy is a 35 pound black lab mix who is a year old. She is a sweet, submissive girl who likes playing with other dogs and loves kids. Daisy is good with other dogs and cats and especially likes kids. She loves to roll over for tummy rubs and likes car rides. Daisy’s wish list for her forever home includes another four legged friend to play with and a fenced yard to run in.

Daisy was dumped in a rural area in Missouri and left to fend for herself. At some point people did not treat her kindly. She is a little shy at first but quickly warms up as soon as she figures out you are a friend.

Daisy is housebroken, spayed, up to date on her shots, Heartworm tested, and micro chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Lisbon Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lisbon, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lisbon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lisbon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lisbon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lisbon paves the way for another one to be saved.
