Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our names are Orville and Wilbur Wright. We are the Wright Brothers. We are 3 to 4 months old and we are looking for a forever home of our own. We were born outside and we have had to rough it for all of our short lives. Mommy tried to take good care of us but it was hard to always find enough food so that she could feed us well too. Thankfully a very nice man in the neighborhood discovered us and started to feed us and look for a way to help us. He found someone to come and “rescue” us. It was a pretty scary process as we didn’t understand that the trapping was to give us a better life. I, Orville was the first and I had a neck wound and a fever. Turns out, there was a worble in my neck. Thankfully our foster mom got me to a vet and she removed the worble and put me on antibiotics. I’m feeling much better now and I try to make sure everyone sees my war wound before it disappears completely. Next came Wilbur who is a little more skittish and even though I told him things were good here, he took a few days to settle down. Wilbur has a secret, he loves cheese fingers. Don’t know what those are? Well our foster mom got some canned cheese and put some on her fingers. Old scaredy cat Wilbur came running for those and now he realizes that playing with people can be fun and sometimes lead to cheese fingers. Now he sits in our foster mom’s lap and turns on that purr machine of his.
We have been neutered, had our rabies shots, had our first distemper shot, been treated for fleas and worms. We’ll be due in about 3 weeks for our second distemper shot. We both love to play and run and chase. We especially love any kind of string toy that we can leap at. We would love to have a home of our own and we promise to be good boys. We can be adopted together or individually as we like playing together, but we are pretty independent too.
So if you’ve been looking for your Mr. Wright or Mr. Wrights, Wilbur and/or I are the ones you’ve probably been waiting for your whole life.
