Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Charlie... a sweet and loving, 6 or 7-year-old, 13-lb., black and tan Dachshund who is looking for his 'forever' home. This little guy is a gem... he's friendly and playful, and also a lap dog and couch potato when he gets tired. Charlie gets along with other dogs (we don't know about cats), but we think he'll be happiest in a single-dog family, as long as he had human companionship during the day. Because of his love of chasing squirrels (as do most Dachshunds) a home with a fenced yard will be best for Charlie.
Charlie is well housetrained, and does not enjoy being in a crate... he prefers a comfy chair or couch. He rides well in the car, and is very sociable with everybody he meets. Could Charlie be the perfect canine companion for your family?
Charlie is neutered, microchipped, current on his Rabies, DHP/Parvo, and Bordetella vaccines, tested Heartworm negative, and is on Heartworm and flea prevention. He has also had a dental cleaning.
Charlie's adoption fee is $200.00.
Forever Home Canine Rescue offers a 3-week trial adoption period with all our adoptions, just to be sure that the pet is a good match for the adoptive family. The fee is refunded if the adoption does not work out within the trial period. We want to be sure that each of our pets will have their perfect “forever” home!
