Hallie's Story...
Hallie was left behind when a neighbor moved out. She was very loyal and stayed in their yard for days before someone called us, we brought her home she was very thin but nice. She is smart, sits on command and stays with you out in the fields. We have had her heartworm tested and caught up on her shots, she was negative heartworm. She is good with the other dogs. She is about 5 years old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hallie, a Staunton American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Staunton, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
