EMMA's Story...
Hi Family!
It's me EMMA! Thanks to my friend Jen at Gotcha! Photo Studio for taking these adorable photos of me so i can show you how cute I am and find my forever home ASAP!
Safehome got me from a local Toronto shelter, but originally I am from Texas! I weigh 8 pounds and I am only about 1.5 years old. I love to cuddle and I am the biggest flirt!!
I get along great with other dogs I do need a gentle intorduction because I am so small, and I like cats too! Because I am a chihuahua, I have a skittish side to me and I may react to small children if they scare me, so I need a home without kids under 16 years of age.
I am very well behaved except I do bark on leash at dogs...I am working on it :)
In my new home, it will take me a few days to come around I will probably it and watch everything for awhile, but once I come out of my shell, I am the friendliest, most loving,, and super cuddly little girl
...please let my rescue know if you are interested in adopting me!
Thank you to Lynn Peterson and her friends for making me a beautiful prayer blanket and sending it the hospital for me when i was very sick...I feel so much better now smile emoticon

Why Adoption is a Great Option

EMMA, a Toronto/GTA Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Toronto/GTA, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Toronto/GTA.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto/GTA already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto/GTA breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto/GTA paves the way for another one to be saved.
