Claire's Story...
Sweet, petite Claire was surrendered (along with her kittens) at an Oakland foster facility 3 months ago. At just a year and a half, this little beauty is ready to settle down. She gets along beautifully with other cats and LOVES people. Claire is sweet, trusting and loves attention. She’s a cuddler! She’ll head butt and roll over for belly rubs…this girl really has a lot of love to give. Her favorite toy (of the moment) is her cat dancer and she loves Temptations treats. We’ve found homes for her kittens but Claire has been overlooked. Still very kitten like and with so much love to give, maybe you can find a place in your heart and home for her.

For more information, please contact Sarah with Feral Change at 415-519-0091.

This cat is considered a Courtesy Listing. We offer our services to help other responsible rescue groups or individuals find good homes for cats in need. We have screened and interviewed each of the individuals before agreeing to post their cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Claire, a Novato Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Novato, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Novato.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Novato already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Novato breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Novato paves the way for another one to be saved.
