My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Mya and this is my little sister, K.D.. Isn’t she just the cutest little thing? I am a 6 year old green cheek conure and K.D. is a two year old parrotlet. We are typical sisters, sometimes we pick on each other, but most of the time we get along really good. K.D. is like my little shadow, whatever I do she does. Kind of like “monkey see monkey do," lol! We miss our mommy, but we are glad she is getting the time she needs to take care of herself and not have to worry about us. We have plucked some of feathers, but mostly because we were worried about our mom. Now that we know she is fine, we are doing much better. Some of feathers are starting to come back. We went to the vet and did really well. I was a little nervous, but the ladies at the vet were very patient with us. We got a clean bill of health and will be ready for our forever home real soon. Of course we come as a pair and need to stay together forever. I step up and like to sit on your shoulder and of course if I’m on your shoulder, K.D. will be right there, too. Of course I don’t mind sharing. My foster mom says we are very sweet. We eat a good diet of pellets and a little seed. We even tried some ‘Chop’ today, boy was it tasty! Well, I think that’s it for now, time to get quiet and sleep for the evening. We hope to meet our forever family soon. Love Mya and K.D.
