Decker's Story...
Hi, I'm Decker! They say I'm about a year old. I am about thirty-five pounds. I have red hair, brown eyes, and an extremely long tail. By now you might have guessed, I am a dog. I'm being fostered by a nice senior couple, and am looking for a forever home. I'm housebroken and cage trained. I know some commands such as sit, shake, and down. I know I'm only allowed on furniture with a towel on it. When I'm corrected, I know I've done wrong. I look sad and seek forgiveness. I lay under the table while my people eat. Then they feed me. I am very quiet, loving and playful. Oh, yes, I'm a pit bull. I hope you'll give me a chance. I'm really a good boy.
Yours, with a red nose,
Decker

PS: I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped! My adoption fee is $150. GO to www.howlatthemoonrescue.com and fill out an application so I can come home with you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Decker, a Zanesville Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Zanesville, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Zanesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Zanesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Zanesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Zanesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
