Zoey's Story...
Zoey's story is quite tragic...She was pulled from a high kill shelter in West TN and went into a wonderful home where she was very loved. Her guardian then passed away leaving Zoey with a family, again. Zoey is a sweet girl who loves people, but dogs, not so much. She will do best as an only dog...she wants ALL the love! Zoey is in foster care in West TN and will be transported once her adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add Zoey to your family, please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Staunton Boston Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Boston Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Boston Terrier/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
