Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hiya! My name is Heidi, and it is just so nice to meet you today. Yep, that’s right – I’m the new adoptable sweetheart here at NBS Animal Rescue. Perhaps I should tell you a little bit about myself, shouldn’t I? Well, I’m a young girl, estimated to only be 2 year old yorkie. Of course, I have plenty of puppy playfulness to go around. Romping with stuffed animals and playing tug of war are just a couple of my favorite ways to spend the day. Oh – although I do love going to walks as well. I’m a real lady on a leash. Although I take a little bit to settle in my crate, I do well after a few minutes. It is just that I’d much rather be snuggling up on the couch, keeping your lap cozy. When I first meet someone new, I like to flirt, and pretend that I am shy. Basically, I cower and roll on my back – it is really my secret weapon to getting belly rubs and making new friends. A girl has to do what a girl has to do, right? I should also mention that I am potty trained, and I know “sit” too (if you have a tasty treat that is!). I’m looking for a home that knows how to give expert level belly rubs, knows how to throw stuffed toys, and kids must be 7years and up.
Do you think I might be the gal pal for you? If so – won’t you please apply at www.NBSAnimalRescue.com ? If not –it’d be really nice of you to share my photo with your friends. Thanks a bunch!
Puppy Kisses and but wiggles,
Heidi
1.) Visit www.nbsar.org to fill out my adoption application. As an approved adopter, my rescue friends can set up a home visit so I can meet you. Our rescue is 100% run by volunteers, to help your application be processed as quickly as possible, please make sure to….
2.) Call your veterinarian and give them permission to release information about your current and past pet’s veterinary history.
3.) Call your references too! Let them know to expect a phone call from an unknown phone number, and a rescue team member will need to talk to them on the phone as a reference.
My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes a DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, de-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine (age appropriate), heartworm test (age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food. If you’d like to meet me, please apply online and to become an approved adopter!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on vaccinations and heartworm preventative , spayed/neutered (unless a documented medical reason is on file with your veterinarian). Dogs must be current on Distemper DHPP combo vaccine and Rabies vaccine, cats must be current on Distemper and Rabies at the time of application. This also applies to any pets in your home within the past five years.
While I hope that you have fallen in love with me and are ready to apply, I understand if I might not be the perfect pup for your family just yet. However, would you please help by sharing my picture on Facebook, twitter or by email? I'm a great pup and need a loving family to give all of my love and puppy kisses to! Thank-you for your help!
