Mooney's Story...
Hi! I’m Mooney. I have seven brothers and sisters. That’s a lot of playmates! There are four of us left at Safe Haven … me and my three brothers, Hunter, Midnight and Bats. My Mom, Johanna, is also here. We were born in May. I’m all black except for a few white hairs on my chest. I love to play with all sorts of toys. I’m told that I am beautiful and well behaved, and so very cute and adorable! I know that I’m affectionate and love to play! I sure hope you come to Safe Haven and meet me, and my brothers too!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mooney, a Port Angeles Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Port Angeles, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Port Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Port Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Port Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Port Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
