My name is Maggie!
I am a 3 year old Chihuahua female
I am still learning how to behave properly on a leash during my walks and sometimes have accidents in the home but my foster family is working on that with me too
While I have lived in an apartment with my foster family I would be better suited for a life in a home because I do bark when I hear noises in the hallway. When my foster family leaves me alone I bark when they first leave but after around 10 minutes I do quiet down
When left alone I am not crated and cause no destruction in the home
I live in foster care with other dogs so I am definitely dog friendly but have not been around any cats; but I am a gentle girl so I am sure if you have a cat and they are dog friendly I would be just fine
I have not been around any children
I can bark when I first meet new people but that is just my Chihuahua anxiety talking once I see that they are nice people I settle down and make friends
I do not travel well in a crate when in the car but if I get to sit on a passenger's lap for the dive I am just a perfect girl
I can sometimes be possessive of my things when it comes to other dogs but never with people
I am a cuddle bug and like to give nose kisses! I love to be in your arms snuggling, cuddled, belly rubs, playing with toys and fetching them (must be squeaky toys) and I am good with taking a baths!
I am a Chihuahua though so I have a tendency to be the boss and act like a spoiled brat when I do not get my way ... Chi Lovers out there will know exactly what I mean ;)

A 3-Step process to adopt one of our foster dogs.
1. Fill the adoption form. It might seem long, but it’s the best way to find the right dog for you and your family!
2. We’ll arrange a meeting with the foster family of the dog you want to meet so you can see if s/he’s the right one for you.
3. If you decide to move forward, you’ll be asked to agree to a home visit, fill-in and sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
