Midnight's Story...
You’ll never find another minion as cute as I! I’m Midnight, a 9 year old spayed female who, as you can very well see, has the patience of a saint. I’m not sure why the silly staff here insisted on dressing me up for my photo shoot, but regardless, I’m looking for a great new home with a family who has enough love in their hearts to take me in! I’m affectionate and playful, and I’ve lived with a large dog in previous home, so it’s likely I would be fine with a dog if you happen to have one. So, that’s me in a nutshell. I can’t imagine what I could possibly be lacking that wouldn’t make me the perfect cat for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Midnight, a Reading Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Reading, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Reading.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reading already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reading breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reading paves the way for another one to be saved.
