My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Porter, Male 1.5 yrs, silver, N and his sister Polly, F, chocolate, S, 1.5 yrs. Porter is a big, goofy, doofusy and very vocal male that loves to run, play and slide down the stair tube luge. We think he's only doofusy because it doesn't seem like he and his sister were let out of their cage much. They don't really know what other ferrets their age know. When first let out, if you approach him, he runs like he's got a nitrous button because he's scared a human will put him back in the cage. He eventually calms down and that's when some of the Doofus starts to fade away. He's just plain happy, happy, doofusy happy. His sister is smarter and not quite so spastic, although she yucks it up plenty good with the other one and under ferrets in the shelter. They both like other ferrets and seem to get along with everyone They haven't been with us very long and are scheduled for vaccinations soon.
