Copper's Story...
Hello, my name is Copper. I was born along with my seven siblings on June 20th, 2015. I got that name because of the adorable little copper flame on my forehead. I also have two copper paws and the stripes on my little tummy are copper and black. I like to study things and will look at you with my very big eyes for a long time. I also like to play a lot and I'm the first one at the dinner table! I am very curious and love to taste things with my new teeth!

Copper is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed rescue. The adoption donation is $165. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. Please fill out our Adoption Form if you are interested. You can also reach us by email at GrandRiverRescue@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Copper, a Cambridge Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cambridge, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Cambridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cambridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cambridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cambridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
