Update 8/23/15: No Noel look and feel like a different dog after just two weeks with us! She is being treated for skin infections and noncontagious mange, her ear infections and ear mites have cleared up, and she has blossomed into a sweet social girl in her foster home! She's been spayed and had a dental and is ready for a home! Noelle was in the worst shape of all the mill rescues we took in today. This little senior havanese is skin and bones under all her filthy mats. Her lips, feet, and hindquarters are raw and painful from chronic infection and irritation. Her ears were caked with what looked more like mud and were swollen and severely infected. Several of her rotted teeth are worn away or broken. Despite her severe neglect at the hands of the Amish miller she has been nothing but sweet as the vet staff cleaned her ears and began to shave her mats, and she seemed to know they were trying to help her. She loves other dogs and will soon be looking for a ca adult home with another doggie friend to help her get used to life in a real home.We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash) in Morris Plains (Denville on GPS).
