My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Wally. I am a 10-month-old, handsome, shorthaired brown tabby cat who is looking for a home. I am litterbox trained and I get along with other cats. I have a happy, friendly, affectionate and playful personality. Here's my rescue story: I was living with my family under some bushes in a small cave by a water retention pond. We had fun playing, but there was never enough food and big monsters with wheels would scare us when they raced through the parking lot. One day, a lady came and took my brothers and sisters with her. I was all alone and very scared and hungry. I kept hiding, but one day I finally decided to be rescued and I let the lady take me home. I am really living the good life now! I have my siblings to play with and all the food I want, plus kitty toys to play with and someone who pets me and shows me love. I don't think these photos really show how handsome I am with my stripes and spots. You'll have to take my word for it - I am a looker. I want a family who will play with me and love me forever and ever. I would also love to have other kitties in me new home, too. I am neutered, up to date on all my shots and I have a microchip. I would love to be your new family member! Adoption fee: $60. Adopt a pair: $90. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 60 days of free pet insurance.

Adoption and Foster Care Application

Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
