My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LADY NICOLE is a 8 year old spayed black female Lab who weighs 80 pounds. Lady Nicole & Kristen have been together since they were puppies, they must be adopted together. Nicole & Kristen are great dogs and very lovable. They are good size dogs who are friendly, strong and smart. Nicole is your typical outgoing Lab who thinks everyone is her best friend. Kristen is a little shy in new situations and follows Nicole. They come from the country are used to wandering their owners small farm which was unfenced. They love to go swimming, their owner used to take them down to the local creek a couple of times a week for exercise and play time. They would love a family that would give them exercise and had a yard for them to play in and keep the critters away.
Good with other dogs. They both have a prey drive and will chase squirrels rabbits etc. so will probably chase outside cats. They know sit, down, come. Love to go on walks but are a handful would do well with Easy Walk Harness especially if you’re walking both at the same time. Crate trained, crated when owners leave the house to prevent them from getting into trouble. Nicole & Kristen Story: They are a bonded pair that are owner give up to us. Their owners had them since they were pups, they got Kristen first and Nicole a couple of months later. They have been inside outside dogs outside during nice weather and inside during storms and when it was cold out in the winter. They were crated at night and when the owners left but have not shown any tendency to get into trouble. The only reason we have them is the owner’s wife recently died and he is in Hospice care. Some folks from their church have been coming over to take care of them every day for the last couple of months and he wanted to make sure they properly were taken care of so asked us to help them find a home. She is approved for kids 10+. More info soon!

Update (8/22): This adorable pair have arrived at their fosters. They are easy peasy ; wash and wear pups. Lady Nicole loves her sister and often assures her that things will be okay. Once Nicole wags her tail at you Kristen wants to be your best friend. Nicole loves to roam the back yard and will play. She runs after balls but no so much at bringing them back to you. She has the sweetest eyes and enjoys attention and affection.
