Nala's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Nala's Story...
Nala is a wonderfully sweet young girl estimated around 9 months of age. Nala was originally a neglect case at Louisville Metro and has recently found her way back to rescue for being "too rambunctious" with the 2 year old in her family. Nala has been fostered with a young child and she is absolutely fabulous with her but like all puppies Nala needs firm boundaries set to know what behavior is acceptable and what isn't. Nala is great with other dogs and is an extremely playful girl - she will run and romp for hours if someone is willing to play with her. Nala is a very smart girl and is very quick to learn new things. She has a great overall personality and is very friendly with all people. Nala is an active girl and would like to find a family who will play with her often and teach her how to grow up as a loved and well behaved family member.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nala, a Louisville German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Louisville, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Louisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Louisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Louisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Louisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
