Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Addie is an 11 month old female german shepherd. She is on the smaller side at 53lbs but could stand to gain a few. Addie came into a Texas shelter covered in mange and a horrible skin infection. After several weeks of treatment, she was finally healthy enough to travel and arrived at her DE foster home 3/7/15. Her hair is still growing in some spots but she has improved immensely and looks to be a sable shepherd. Addie is your typical puppy and has a ton of energy. She would love to have a fenced yard and another large dog or two to play with. She has not had a single accident and sleeps through the night in her crate. She doesn't appear to have had any formal training but is a quick learner and learned sit on her first day. She is food motivated and takes treats gently and has not shown any signs of food or toy aggression. Addie is friendly towards all but likes to jump so a home with dog savvy children would be best. As she becomes more comfortable, she is showing a bit too much interest in the resident kitty so we're recommending a cat and critter free home. Interested parties can apply at blackdogsandcompanyrescue.org. Breed experience a plus! Adoption fee of $300 includes vaccinations, preventatives, spay, and microchip.April 7, 2024, 12:06 am
