Hellooo!! I'm Belmont, an adorable 1 year old boy. You would not believe what my previous owners did to me.... they threw me out of a moving car!! :-( luckily a good Samaritan, who also happens to be a volunteer at Forgotten Friends, witnessed it and was able to scoop me up before I was hit by a car!
I have a clean bill of health and I'm looking for a forever home where I will be safe and loved like I deserve!! I'm VERY friendly and love to be held. You can carry me around like a baby and kiss my face as much you want. I'm very talkative and will follow you around, begging to be pet :-) I'm a mush!! I'm also good with other cats. Please take me home!!

Belmont is neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and even had full bloodwork that proved great health! :-)

About Forgotten Friends of Long Island

About Our Rescue Group...

We are Forgotten Friends of Long Island (FFLI) and we are driven to rescue the forgotten ones in our shelters or the ones abandoned and alone on the streets. Dogs and cats on euth that sit in the shelter being passed up just because they look ordinary or maybe have disabilities like blindess or fear. This rescue is not about the numbers, but focused more on the lost ones who deserve a chance at life.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Visit our website for all events and locations www.forgottenfriendsoflongisland.org or please fan us on facebook www.facebook.com/ffoli - thank you!

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process consists of a completed application, a phone or in-person conversation and a home visit. It is of the utmost importance to us to make a match with the adopter(s) and the dog or cat. The goal is a forever home so this is why this match is so important :) It is our pleasure to provide continued assistance with all of our adopted pets and no adoption is final until a bond is formed between you and your new dog/cat. You are now part of the FFLI family and we are always here for our animals.
