Phoebe's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Phoebe's Story...
Phoebe and Scarlet are a bonded pair, so we would like to adopt them together if possible. They are around 2 years old, weigh 20 lbs. and are both heartworm negative (shocking!) Phoebe and Scarlet were pulled by Yelp!Br from the parish shelter when their hold time was up. Both are very skittish, but NOT aggressive at all. They seem to have been someone's hunting dogs who never took the time to socialize them. We believe with time and patience these sweet girls will make the perfect addition to the right dog lover. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phoebe, a Baton Rouge Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Baton Rouge, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Baton Rouge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baton Rouge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baton Rouge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baton Rouge paves the way for another one to be saved.
