My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Flynn is the most precious little dog that you may ever meet. He is approx 6-7 yrs old and 13 lbs and is a wire haired dachshund mix. He is very timid and shy and likes a fairly quiet home. He likes to hang out in his fosters' closet and will come out and explore when he feels it is safe. He gets along with the other dogs and is just a happy little boy. He does pretty well on a leash, but will need an owner that can bring him out of his shell and give him lots of tlc. He would do best in an all adult home. He is truly just adorable and is going to make a great friend for someone.

If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet of $110. We will go over all fees with you via email. Also, The state of MA does not allow adoptions of dogs that are heart worm positive. We are required to do a foster to adopt until the dog tests heart worm negative, usually in 4-6 months after treatment.
