Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kona is a 1-1/2 year-old brown female Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier mix and weighs about 50 pounds. She was a stray found near Deep Ellum in downtown Dallas. She was at first very shy and afraid of people, but now she is a ball of energy that wants to meet everybody! Sadly, Kona had to have her tail removed because of an existing infected wound. She needs time to be introduced to new dogs as she can be aggressive at first; she lives in her foster home with an 80 lb boxer mix, and they became best friends after only one day. Because of the time needed for her to be ok with new dogs, Kona isn't able to go to dog parks. She is crate trained and house broken; she would love a secure backyard as she LOVES to run around. She is phenomenal with adults but has not been introduced to kids yet. Kona is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Is your family a good match for this active girl?
