Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Liberty is a 5 year-old (approx DOB 4/2012) female Yellow Lab mix that weighs about 70 pounds. She can be fearful when meeting strangers, but warms up as she becomes comfortable. Liberty was rescued from poor living conditions and tested positive for heartworm disease; she was treated for the disease. At first, she was afraid to eat from her food bowl having never eaten from a bowl before! Now she’s much more comfortable and sociable. Liberty is dependent on her humans, preferring human contact over being with other dogs. She is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, crate-trained, microchipped and on monthly heartworm prevention. If your family is looking for a sweet, active Lab mix, then come meet sweet Liberty!
***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ- Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference and trial adoption will be done before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.
