Midnight's Story...
I’m a pretty little girl named Midnight, but I’ll make your heart shine like a beautiful sunny day! I’m very, very sweet and just a little bit shy. I’m the type of dog that just melts into your arms when you touch me. It’s clear that I haven’t had a lot of socialization, but I LOVE people none the less. I lived in a house with 7 cats for a while and I do oh so great with children too. I enjoy lying in the sun and I appreciate the company of my new pooch pals too. I’m very friendly and gentle. I can’t wait to see a little more of this big ‘ol world…I also look forward to meeting you! 2 year old-40lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; microchip, spay, 5 week Training Class, free vet exam (in portland/milwaukie area), 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Midnight, a Portland Australian Shepherd/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Collie for sale in Portland, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Collie dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
