Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Angus, one of six happy, healthy, adorable puppies that was saved from a high-kill shelter in Clovis, NM on the day he was to be euthanized. Unfortunately, their poor mother was euthanized leaving these babies orphaned, but we were able to get them to safety in our rescue here in CO with the help of some pretty amazing volunteers!
There are 4 males and 2 females. We believe they are lab/shepherd mixes and they're approximately 10-12 weeks old. Each puppy has been dewormed and they have had their first round of vaccines. Happy Landings Animal Rescue will pay for the next 2 rounds of vaccinations when they are due as well as a microchip and heartworm testing. Once the puppies are of age, HLAR will cover the cost of having them spayed/neutered at our veterinary hospital.
Our adoption process begins with you meeting the puppies. Feel free to schedule a play date with them and your existing dog(s). After you fill out an application, we will verify your references and do a brief home inspection. If all goes well, we will deliver your new puppy to you for a small adoption fee. We then ask that you sign our adoption contract. We will do a follow-up visit approximately two weeks to one month after the adoption to ensure that your new puppy is adjusting well to his or her new home and that they are happy and healthy.
We feel our adoption process is the best way to vet good owners and to guard against people seeking dogs for dog fighting, bait dogs, and/or dog sales. We only have our rescue dogs' best interest in mind and we do everything we can to insure that they go to the very best home and that it's the perfect fit.
