Maximus's Story...
Maximus is a loving soul with a lot of fun, youthful vigor. One look in his eyes and you’ll want to be his “forever” friend. One of our volunteers fell in love with him at the city pound, where he met Max during “bath-time.” The poor guy was so scared at first (who wants to be at the pound?!) but after just a few minutes Maximus started warming up to every person he met. Before long, everyone was talking about Maximus like he was an old friend. The guy just needs a buddy and some loving! His previous person didn’t treat him like a best friend, and Max deserves a guardian who will be there for him through thick-and-thin.

He’s great on the leash, loves to play with other dogs, likes to go for rides in the car, and is content just sitting next to you, “shaking” your hand for hours on end! Just look at that face – this guy is one of the greats!!

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
