Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Drake is a 2 year old Shepherd mix who was found wandering a neighborhood in the south during an ice storm - a pretty rare event! He is a great guy, housebroken, crate trained, walks great on a leash, loves to ride in the car and is great with children. He does better with female dogs or submissive males. As you can tell he loves kids and everyone he meets. He has been through heartworm treatment and is now healthy and ready to roll. He weighs around 40-45lbs.
Drake is a confident boy so he could be an “only” as well.
Drake would love to have an active family who is home a lot. He does not do well with small animals so a home without felines, rabbits, etc. will be a must.
To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org, or request an application via email, luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.
Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
