My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These beautiful babies are 4 months old (as of early August) and they are just as funny and adorable as can be! The heaviest one only weighs about 8 lbs so they won’t be big dogs. Mom, May, is a pretty girl of about 40 lbs and we think the puppies are either a mix of Spaniel or Terrier or both. Our southern rescue partners are still learning their personalities but so far Ash seems to be the most outgoing. All of them are wonderful with children and other dogs and fine with cats.

May and her babies were so very fortunate to have our southern partner rescuers step in at just the right moment. She was in a shelter that has some very rough conditions and was hugely pregnant. The rescuers took a leap of faith and sprung her to freedom, placing her in foster. She gave birth the very next day to 8 little loves. They are happy, healthy wiggly babes – four of them are coming to us and four to another rescue. Once May is cured of heartworm disease we'd like to bring her north and help her find a home too.

To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org, or request an application via email, luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.

Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.

Thank you for considering rescue!
