Mr. Pickles's Story...
Mr. Pickles is an energetic 2-year-old fella that loves long walks and playing in the back yard. His leash training is moderate and he does need some work in basic obedience. He is completely house trained and sleeps on a dog bed in the bedroom. It did take some convincing that dog beds are as great as human beds!

Mr. Pickles has dealt with chronic ear/skin allergies, but they are currently under control and much improved! He loves other dogs and thinks the other household Weims are quite fetching. He is very social and wants to meet everyone, including the cat, who is not quite sure if he can handle all of Mr. Pickles excitement. He is crated during the day and does great. He is looking for his own special person! He is being fostered in Aurora, OH

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr. Pickles, a Grand Haven Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
