Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SOPHIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Sophie is a happy, sweet, and gentle 5 year old, 11 pound, female Doxie/Chihuahua mix, otherwise known as a Chiweenie! Sophie was rescued from an animal control facility in southern IL shortly after she had given birth to 7 adorable little pups. The stressful pound is no place for a new family, so we brought Sophie up to our rescue in Chicago so she could raise her pups in the comfort and safety of a foster home. Sophie's pups are now weaned and have all been adopted, so it's mommy's turn to find a home now. She can be a little timid when first meeting new people, but she warms up quickly. She's an extremely affectionate little gal and loves to be near her people. She loves nothing more than cuddling up next to her favorite people. Sophie also loves to sleep in bed, under the covers, with her foster mom. She's quiet and well behaved in the home and is house trained when kept on a regular schedule. She'll also use wee wee pads if made available to her. Sophie has been treated for a heartworm infection, but is now happy and healthy and ready to go home! She's also been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and has had a recent dental cleaning. Please come and meet this beautiful girl today, she's anxious to meet her forever family!
• Sophie's adoption donation is $275. This donation helps to cover her spay, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Sophie from euthanasia.
