My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Most of the cats here at the shelter come with a story. George is one of them. Somehow this poor guy got himself stuck on a ledge. Was he being chased by a dog? Running away from people teasing him? We don’t know. We can say for sure that this very friendly cat doesn’t seem to have a friend in this world – at least not for the moment. We were hoping that someone would call us to say how much they missed this sweet but shy cat. He is a real treat for the eyes too, as he has a gorgeous dark orange-red coat. In the personality department you couldn’t ask for more. George is gentle and docile, and gets along just fine with other cats.
