Watson's Story...
Welcome Watson to the BTN!! This Boxer Mix was rescued from euthanasia from a shelter in South Carolina. He is in foster care in SC. So far he is doing very well with his foster momma's other dogs and her mini pig. She is working on crate training. He also doesn't know any basic commands so they are working on that too. He has not been kid or cat tested. He is fully vetted and neutered. We believe he is about 2 - 3 years old but we aren't positive. Adoption rate is $215. If you are in the areas of PA, MD, WV, VA, DC or no further than 2 hours away from Liberty SC 29657 and are interested in Watson please email ireneb@boxertransfer.org for an adoption application. As we learn more about Watson we will be sure to post updates!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Watson, a Westminster Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Westminster, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Westminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
