Beau - adopted !'s Story...
Meet Beau ! Beau most likely is a Lhasa, could have some ShihTzu mixed, but foster Mom believes he is a Lhasa Apso. He is such a sweetie, vet thinks he is young, about 12 months old, and weighs 12 lbs. However when he came into foster, he was quite thin and could benefit by gaining a lb or 2. So far Beau has been too busy to gain any weight, he loves the other dogs and has made some friends. He is all puppy, loves toys and chewies. He finds cats to be curious, some he ignores, others are more interesting. He does love to go for walks, does well on a leash. He has shown himself to be a smart boy, housetrained if taken out regularly. Beau was vaccinated, microchipped and neutered, is on Heartworm and flea preventative. If interested in this funny, sweet young boy, contact foster Mom Chris at chrismorr@live. com. An adoption application and fee will apply/ vet check.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beau - adopted !, a Charlotte Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
