Thanks to an animal loving couple, Tommy and his brother, Jake were trapped and rescued when they were about 4 months old, after they were abandoned by a stray mama dog in a Tomball neighborhood. It appeared that they had never been touched by humans because they were very fearful and would run and hide in the bushes. Their foster parents opened their hearts and home to these two sweet puppies and have done a phenomenal job of bringing them out of their shells.
These once abandoned pups have grown into beautiful mid sized dogs. Their foster mom thinks they must be Texas Blue Lacy mixes.
Tommy is a sweet boy, curious and active. He is always alert and ready to interact. Tommy is friendly, yet shy at first with strangers. He will kennel up on command and is crate trained and only potties outside, never in his crate. He only barks when he hears or sees someone unfamiliar. Tommy enjoys going for walks on his leash.
Can you open your heart and home to this handsome boy? He just needs someone to give him a chance, a special human who is an experienced dog owner and has the love and patience to guide him.
Estimated birthdate: January 2015.
Approximate weight: 40 lbs.
If you would like to meet Tommy, please text or call his foster mom, Janice at - 936-207-0963.
