Tawney's Story...
Tawney is a lovely blue-eyed ragdoll mix girl with a sweet and affectionate disposition. Veterinarians estimate her to be between 5 and 8 years old. It is rare to see the flamepoint coloring in a female, so Tawney is a very special girl! A car accident blinded her in one eye, but this has not affected her energy or ability to get around and she is a very healthy cat. Tawney has a wonderful non-matting coat, likes to play with feather toys, loves to have her soft belly rubbed, and wants to curl up next to her people at night. UPDATE: she was originally listed as needing to be an only cat, but her foster mom believes she might be comfortable with a small mellow dog or another “beta” cat. Please be aware we do not allow declawing of any of our cats. For more information, call Tawney’s foster mom at 503-777-8621. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tawney, a Keizer Ragdoll cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ragdoll for sale in Keizer, or seeking a Ragdoll cat from a breeder in Keizer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Keizer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Keizer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ragdoll breeders who help with Ragdoll rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Keizer paves the way for another one to be saved.
